Highlight & Shadow is food photographer Craig Howarth’s training vehicle for the food / marketing industry.

Craig has identified that in addition to pro shoots for restaurants there is a growing need for the food industry to engage with social channels.. This engagement requires more casual real-time images being created by owners, chefs and marketing teams and posted regularly to their preferred channels.

These photographs need to be created to the highest possible standard to reflect the quality of service provided by the restaurant. Highlight & Shadow has developed a programme designed to show you how to take real-time pro photographs which will impress your customers and help grow your business.

Craig has been running traditional workshops for over 15 years, training people to use photoshop, digital cameras and studio lighting. Over the past 5 years he has concentrated on training chefs and food companies on how they can take better photographs for the social channels using their equipment, most are using smart phones.
